Tektronix P6248
1.7GHz Differential Probe
Description
The Tektronix P6248 is a Factory Differential Probe that has a bandwidth of 1.5 GHz to 1.85 GHz.
The P6248 Differential Probe will let users make time domain or make frequency domain measurements on high bandwidth signals that are commonly found in disk drive, digital IC design (RAMBUS) and communication applications (Gigabit Ethernet, IEEE-1394 Firewire and Fibre Channel).
The P6248 is perfect for design verification of the disk drive read channel electronics and for timing analysis for troubleshooting ground bounce problems that are associated with high speed logic.
The P6248 has accessories that will allow RAMBUS via probing and IEEE-1394 interconnect access. This small probe head geometry and assorted probe tip accessories will let these probes easily accommodate the manual probing of surface mount devices while still maintaining high CMRR.
The P6248 can also be used for pulse shape or for cross talk compliance testing of the high speed communication signals.
