Description

This Test set will be of particular interest to network operators and equipment vendors setting up repair workstations for PCS 1900 mobile telephones.

The CMD53 runs pre configured RF measurement and signaling tests with minimal operator intervention, or it can be operated in step by step fashion for troubleshooting.

In effect (and like its design and manufacturing oriented predecessor, the CMD55), the CMD53 is, "a base station in a box."

The mobile phone under test sees the same signal environment and interactions that a real base station would provide.
