This probe is the ideal tool for making accurate measurements in high efficiency switch mode power supplies and other applications requiring high bandwidth.

A finger operated slider opens the sensor core, allowing the probe to be clamped around the test conductor without the need to break the connection.

This unit includes a Probe Unlock Detection feature which alerts the user when the slider is not fully closed by displaying a warning message on the oscilloscope display.

A separate overheating detection circuit generates a warning message on the oscilloscope display when the input RMS current has exceeded a level which could result in damage to the probe.
