Agilent / HP / Keysight E1406A

This Command Module is a C-size, 1-slot VXI message-based commander that will provide Slot 0 and Resource Manager function.

It can act as a VMEbus system controller and GPIB (IEEE-488)-to-VXIbus interface device for transparently communicating with any manufacturers message-based VXI modules.

This module has FLASH memory for downloadable drivers, allows you can program Agilent register-based devices using the high-level SCPI program language.

It will translate SCPI commands for register-based instruments and so this makes these VXI devices as easy to program as message-based instruments.

This command module also has a MXIbus Resource Manager for VXIbus extensions.

This allows you to maintain high-throughput performance in multiple mainframe systems.

It has flexible triggering and clock interfacing, that allows you to synchronize the VXI backplane 10MHz clock to an external TTL signal.
