Description
The Agilent 8970A Noise Figure Meter makes accurate and repeatable noise figure measurements.
The 8970A can be used with the 346x or 347x family noise sources.
Low instrument uncertainty and automatic second-stage correction
will make it possible to make accurate noise figure readings, even for low-gain devices.
The 8970A operates from 10 MHz to 1500 Mhz.
The 8970A is not compatible with the 8971B and 8971C Noise Figure Test Sets.
The 8970A can store one (1) ENR table.
The plot function does not exist on a 8970A.
The early versions of the 8970A are limited to a noise figure and gain range of 10MHz to 1500 MHz.
