84813A Peak Power Sensor
Description
The Agilent 84813A Peak power sensor is compatible with the obsolete 8990/1A peak power analyzers and the obsolete 8992A digital video power analyzer.
The 84813A sensor gives outstanding measurement accuracy in demanding situations and includes automatic temperature sensing and correction.
Balanced Planar Doped Barrier (PDB) diodes are the sensing elements of the agiltent 84813A Peak Power Sensor. These PDB diodes provide a specified dynamic range of -32 to +20 dBm.
The Peak Power Sensors also contain wideband, high dynamic range sensor amplifier which allows for very fast system risetime. Excellent SWR is provided by the integrated matching the network and diodes.
Peak Power Sensors calibration data is automatically loaded from the Sensor EPROM to the Agilent 8990A Peak Power Analyzer. Thus, the user is not required to perform a manual Sensor calibration.
The specified risetime for an Agilent 8990A using the 84813A sensor with the option 001 is < 10 ns where as the risetime is < 5 ns using the standard Sensor cable.
