The Agilent 8155A is a narrow linewidth laser diode source.

It is optional for 1300nm or 1550 nm with excellent short- and long-term stability.

It outputs CW or 270 Hz chopped light.

External modulation up to 850 MHz is possible, and allows digital signal performance tests on fast telecommunication links.
