Agilent / HP / Keysight 60504B
60504B 600 Watt dc Electronic Load Module
Description
The Agilent/HP 60504B load module along with the DC electronic load mainframe are ideal for the test and evaluation of DC power sources and power components and are well suited for applications in areas such as research and development, production, and incoming inspection.
Each module includes programming inputs that allow control of load current via an analog control voltage.
The Agilent 60504B is designed for use in a 6050A or 6051A Electronic Load mainframe.
The 60504B is ideal for the test and evaluation of DC power sources and power components and is well suited for applications in areas such as research and development, production, and incoming inspection.
Each module can operate independently in constant current (CC) mode, constant voltage (CV) mode , or constant resistance (CR) mode. In addition, each input can be turned on or off (open circuit) or short circuited.
The 60504B module includes programming inputs that allow control of load current via an analog control voltage.
Power connections are made via large high current binding posts that permit rapid connections by hand and eliminate the traditional bolt/nut connections of the past.
Programs written for the Agilent 6060 series of single Electronic Loads can be used with the multiple loads, easing program development for applications using various members of the Agilent Electronic Load family. (Triggering via the ac line frequency or the load’s internal timer is available only in the multiple load mainframe.)
Each load module can be individually controlled either via GPIB or locally via the front panel. Once a channel is selected or addressed, all subsequent commands go to that channel until another channel is selected or addressed. Operation of all models is similar, regardless of power ratings.
If any application requires a greater power or current capacity than one module can provide, load modules can be connected in parallel in CC or CR mode.
