6038A System Autoranging DC Power Supply, 60V, 10A
Description
The Agilent / HP 6038A DC power supply provides up to 200W at up to 60 VDC and up to 10A. The Agilent 6038A uses power MOSFETs in a 20KHz switching converter to provide an autoranging output characteristic with laboratory performance. The output voltage and current of Agilent 6038A are continuously indicated on individual meters. LED indicators show the complete operating state of the 6038A unit. The 6038A DC power supply has front-panel controls which allow the user to set output voltage, current and over voltage protection trip levels. Over voltage protection (OVP) protects the load by quickly and automatically interrupting energy transfer if a preset trip voltage is exceeded. Fold-back protection can be selected to disable the power supply output if the 6038A power supply switches from Constant Voltage (CV) to Constant Current (CC) mode or vice-versa. Industry standard SCPI commands and VXI Plug & Play drivers make system integration easy. Using the serial link, up to 16 power supplies can be connected through one GPIB address. The Agilent 6038A power supply has excellent electrical efficiency, making it a good choice for large systems. Option 001 eliminates the front panel readouts of the 6038A for pure remote control applications.
