Agilent / HP 81106A
PLL/External Clock Module
Description
This Clock Module has Internal clock, with internal or external reference, as period source or trigger for bursts and patterns, external clock for synchronizing to system clock or master or slave operation.
The 81106A PLL/External Clock is useful for applications which require a phase locked loop (PLL) or an external clock.
The internal PLL of 81106A is locked to the 5 MHz or 10 MHz frequency at the PLL reference input. Period accuracy, range, resolution and jitter are improved. The output period is determined by the internal PLL.
The internal PLL replaces an external trigger source. The output period is determined by signal at clock input. Frequency accuracy can be increased by using a precise external clock.
