Agilent / HP / Keysight 8481A
8481A Power Sensor
Description
The Agilent / HP 8481A Power Sensor is designed for use with the EPM series, EPM-P series, 70100A, E1416A and the 43x series power meters, and provides extraordinary accuracy and stability.
The Agilent / HP 8481A power sensor is designed for use with the 435B, 436A, 437B, 438A, 70100A, and the E4418B and E4419B power meters.
These thermocouple and diode power sensors provide extraordinary accuracy, stability, and SWR over a wide range of frequencies (9 kHz to 110 GHz) and power levels (-77 dBm to +44 dBm).
The 8481A power sensor also gives you extremely low SWR.
The Agilent / HP 8481A unit has extremely low SWR and is traceable to the U.S. National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST).
A calibration port is included with the above power meter for calibration with the power sensor.
This calibration eliminates the uncertainties due to temperature changes and the variance in making measurements with different meter / sensor combinations.
Key Points
Excellent SWR for reducing mismatch uncertainty
Accurate calibration and traceability to US National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST)
Compatible with EPM, EPM-P and P-series power meters, plus the E1416A VXI and discontinued 70100A and 43X power meter
Accurate average power measurements over -30 to +20dBm
Thermocouple power sensing element
