Agilent / HP 4953A

The Agilent 4953A is a Protocol Analyzer.

It has a powerful, high speed with most common protocols standard.

Included are BSC, DDCMP, HDLC, SDLC, X.25, X.75 and custom Character Oriented Protocols.

Sophisticated tests are easily and quicklly composed, soft key guided measurements and full ASCII keyboard.

There are sixty three triggers that allow the 4953A to automatically react to character strings, ,timers, and lead changes, and error conditions.

The built-in tape drive allows the storage and retrieval of data-set-up information.

The other features will include 50 bps to 72 Kbps transfer rates
(int. clock or ext. clock), Synchronous, Asynchronous, and Synchronous NRZI,

There are 64 Kbytes for storing data, timing, and face lead status,
for the storing application programs there are 48 Kbytes, total control of up to 16 remote instruments, timers-counters (5 each), plus a wide range of Data Codes, Error Checking, and also Parity selection.
