This Stepper Moter Controller Pulse Output quadrature counter inputs QA, QB, QI (channels A, B, and Index) for attaching an optical encoder to the HP 44714A and physically monitor the motor shaft movement.

Each channel has a positive and negative input that is TTL compatible and has an active switching range of 0 to 15V.
