Anritsu MP1632A
Digital Data Analyzer 50MHz to 3.2GHz
Description
The Anritsu MP1632A integrates a pulse pattern generation unit (transmitter) and an error detection unit (receiver) in a single unit, halving size and weight compared to conventional BERTS and cutting the price.
And when far-end measurement is needed, the MP1632A can be configured as two units for transmitting and receiving.
The graphical user interface (GUI) features a large LCD and the Windows OS.
As an example of the systems user-friendly operation, test patterns of 1s and 0s can be input like drawing actual waveform transition.
Moreover, screen customizing permits one key/one parameter operation, a feature of conventional BERTS.
Thus, the MP1632A has inherited the popular operability of Anrits's conventional BERTS.
The results display provides eye diagram measurement, which is useful for evaluating the quality of the input waveform.
An additional merit not provided by conventional BERTS is burst-signal measurement, which supports optical loop tests for development of long-distance optical transmission circuits
