Description
The Advantest R3182 Spectrum Analyzer is a low cost portable spectrum analyzers capable of performing direct input measurements at a maximum frequency 26.5 and 40GHz respectively.
Adopting newly designed RF circuitry, the R3182 aim for improved basic performance with their 40GHz direct input capability.
Further, this unit achieve "best in class" performance for average display noise levels of -104dBm (at 26.5GHz, RBW 1KHz) and -106dBm (at 40GHz, RBW 1KHz) respectively, and SSB phase noise levels of -91dBc/Hz (at 26.5GHz, 20KHz offset) and -85dBc/Hz (at 40GHz, 20KHz offset) respectively.

The R3182 Spectrum Analyzer uses the synthesized local method and allows the user highly stable and highly precise spectrum analysis.
Power measurement function of R3182 is useful for evaluating radio instruments using measurements such as occupied bandwidth(OBW), adjacent channel power (ACP), channel power, etc.
Remote control capabilities of R3182 allow you to setup an automatic measurement system. This remote control function complies with GPIB and RS-232 specifications.
The R3182 has an auto tuning function that searches for a signal with the maximum input level.
A 3.5-inch floppy disk drive is provided with R3182 through which you can use to save images in BMP format.
Save and recall functions of the R3182 allow you to store measurement conditions and data in TEXT format.
The R3182 should be used only in an area free from corrosive gas, an area away from direct sunlight, a dust free area, an area free from vibrations, an altitude up to 2000 m.
