Advantest Q7750
Optical Network Analyzer
Description
The Advantest Q7750 OPTSCOPE is an analyzer used to analyze the amplitude, delay time, dispersion characteristics and dispersion slope characteristics of transmitted and reflected light form optical devices at high speed and with high resolution by adopting the phase shift method for chromatic dispersion measurement.
The remote control capabilities allow setup an automatic measurement system. This remote control functions complies with GPIB specifications.
The Q7750 should be used only in an area free from corrosive gas, dust, vibrations away from direct sunlight. An exhaust fan is provided on the rear panel.
Although the Q7750 has been designed to withstand a certain amount of noise riding on the AC power line, it should be used in an area of low noise. A noise cut filter can be used to avoid ambient noise. The Q7750 analyzer can be used safely at an altitude of up to 2000 m.
During operation, the power supply automatically switches between input voltage levels of 100 VAC and 200 VAC. Be sure, however, to use a power cable that matches the input voltage and meets the related standard.
